Interim M&A Tax Lead £1000 p/d

One of the worlds largest and most innovative sustainable technology firms has an urgent requirement for an Interim Merger & Acquisition Tax Lead.

This is an initial 12-month contract offering up to £1000 p/d inside IR35 and hybrid working between WFH and 1-2 days per week in the London offices.

The Role:

Due to an increase in M&A activity linked to the groups revised strategy the client has identified the need for an experienced M&A Tax Lead to join their function to focus of M&A and particularly disposals.

Reporting to the Head of Direct Tax this person will act as the tax leas in the multi-disciplinary team on M&A activity, working closely with the corporate development team as well as legal, finance, treasury, finance and the underlying businesses.

The transactional activity involves disposals of businesses as part of a rationalisation of non-core businesses as well as potential acquisitions. The duties will include due diligence, SPA review, restructuring and financing as well as providing practical and hands-on support.

Requirements:

This role will suit someone who enjoys M&A tax work and who has experience in this area, they will understand the tax technical work and business structuring involved and communicate effectively, If you are a tax professional with M&A experience, or someone who has operated at a senior level with experience of working with a large complex multinational group and is at a stage in career where you would like to focus on technical work only, please apply.
