Interim Logistics Specialist

Interim Logistics Specialist required to join a leading FMCG organisation in West London to assist in UK Import Controls as part of the organisations Brexit preparations.

You will be responsible for ensuring that audits are completed for all relevant UK Imports Controls, document issues and raise CAPAs and manage customs brokers, controls and performance KPIs.

The role requires a clear understanding of import procedures including but not limited to duty, VAT, commodity codes, CPC codes and UK customs procedures/regimes.

These technical skills are essential to conducting audits and checks that are related to the SAO controls in place for Customs & Excise Duty for UK Imports. The role also requires a understanding of audit procedures and practices to monitor all aspects of import transactions.
