Interim Learning Advisor Sustainability £728pd

An excellent interim opportunity for a Learning Advisor, with experience in strategic talent development, to join a world-leader in Energy and drive low carbon and sustainability offers globally.

This FTSE 100 organisation is at the forefront of its field in terms of sustainability, with a aims for carbon neutrality and huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy solutions and the cutting-edge tech to support.

An initial 5-month contract, this role is offering up to £728 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35), with hybrid working from home and in South-East England.

The Role:

As part of a newly formed Team focused on low carbon and sustainability capabilities, the Learning Advisor will be responsible for implementing low carbon and sustainability learning offers, with a global scope. These will cover formal learning, skills development, community building, small-scale intervention and vendor partnerships.

You will support the development and delivery of learning tools, systems and processes, taking an active role in agile design processes.

  • Design and maintenance of learning offers and learning matrix for low carbon and sustainability.
  • Drives delivery for identified audiences, including low carbon technologies and skill areas.
  • Engages with stakeholders to a senior level.
  • Partner to review and updated the sustainability portal.
  • Develop plans for refinement of skills taxonomy, working closely with SMEs in the space.
  • Consult on any low carbon or sustainability challenges.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in strategic talent within a large, corporate organisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to apply business acumen and link value to business results.
  • Experience in organisational change management.
  • Experience addressing employee and business capability needs and creating learning solutions related to low carbon skills, to be realised in a business context.
  • Experience working with agile frameworks and ways of working.
