Interim IT Category Manager £650pd

An exciting opportunity for an Interim IT Category Manager, to join a dynamic, FTSE 100 Financial Services company, currently undergoing significant change and transformation. The successful candidate for this strategic, business-facing role will hold strong experience across IT Software, Applications and Services.

This is a 6 month contract, offering up to £650 per day (inside IR35, Umbrella), based working from home, with some travel to London (once restrictions allow).

The Role:

You will focus on large, global software deals in Commercial, which include a blend of off the shelf and bespoke softwares. You will manage the creation and review of forward-looking category plans.

In this hands-on position, you will lead the strategy and planning for Procurement to deliver cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation.

Requirements:

- Strong Procurement experience across Software, Applications and IT Services.

- Alongside a strong, Strategic skillset, the ability to execute large, complex Procurement projects and programmes, with multiple workstreams.

- Articulate, with fantastic communication ability, and able to successfully engage with and influence Senior-level stakeholders.
