Role: Interim Category Manager - IT Software & Services

Rate: Umbrella rate is up to £650 p/d UMBRELLA

Location: UK Wide - offices in London, Southampton, Birmingham and Sheffield

Duration: Initial 6 months

Client: FTSE 100 Financial Services provider

Overview:

- Jobholder will operate as a dedicated IT Procurement Business Partner to one of the Finance divisions within the bank

-Spend:

oRun the bank spend = £75m (OPEX)

oChange the bank spend = £100m

-Common Suppliers:

oFinestra, CGI, Wipro, Infosys, ChinaSoft, Tech Systems

Key Criteria:

- Experience of working on "programme engagements" - most procurement activity is related to bank/function wide change projects not BAU

- Category experience in Software, Applications and IT professional services

- Financial Services would be preferred but not essential

- Ideally some experience of working in a Procurement Business Partner capacity - aligned to a specific customer

- Style must be articulate, to the point, punchy and concise

- Evidence/Experience of working in fluid, fast paced, changing environments
