Interim IT Category Buyer £313pd (Inside) REMOTE

Role: IT Category Buyer

Rate: £313 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: Public Sector Organisation

Location: Flexible with no requirements to spend set periods in office. Team covers South-West England.

Duration: To end of March 2026

An IT Category Buyer, to lead and deliver high-value, high-risk procurement, provide commercial advice, and build relationships with key stakeholders.

You will deliver end-to end sourcing, manage and build robust contractual relationships, and agree powerful category strategy.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and experience in leading competitive procurements.
• Experience in leading and managing high value and complex procurements, ideally within ICT.
• Good stakeholder engagement skills.
• Project Management ability beneficial.
