Interim IR35 Contracts Specialist - £450 to £550 per day

A prestigious leading client are seeking a knowledgeable Contract Specialist with expertise in IR35 to support Procurement and the Business, ensuring best practice for the formulation of contracts. This role is to start as soon as possible, on a 6-month contract, paying between £450 and £550 per day, based in London.

The role:

The IR35 Contracts Specialist will develop and apply accessible, risk-based procurement processes, policies and tools to ensure that the appropriate contracts are used.

You will:

  • Provide contract advice and support, including contract reviews and edits in line with the agreed governance procedures
  • Contribute to contract formation and management related guidance
  • Ensure that processes, policies and tools provide control and reflect best practice, communicating these to the business in an understandable and accessible way
  • Manage the process for execution of contractual documentation, escalating any risks and ensuring all key data is captured on the database
  • Monitoring of contract compliance, including creation of risk management plans and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Co-ordinate and undertake contract audit exercises
  • Support development and delivery of the stakeholder engagement and education strategy

Requirements:

  • Strong, specialist knowledge and experience working with IR35 legislation
  • Strong contract drafting and formation expertise
  • Experience developing and managing procurement processes
  • Skilled in customer and business relationship management
  • Experience with corporate and procurement policies and governance
  • Some experience with planning and project management
  • Commercial acumen and financial risk management
  • Contract Management knowledge
