We're partnering with a global energy and infrastructure business to appoint an Interim Indirect Category Manager for a 6-month contract, focused on IT, HR, and corporate services procurement for the global HQ. This is a pivotal role to lead sourcing projects, manage key projects from day one within HR and Travel as well as the IT licence and software area, you will build category management plans, some for the 1st time and negotiate high-value agreements, working closely with senior stakeholders in HR, IT, and Finance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop indirect procurement categories (IT, HR, and Corporate Services)
• Shape and execute global/regional sourcing strategies and tenders
• Build supplier partnerships and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Deliver cost optimization without compromising on service or quality
• Collaborate with HQ leaders to embed category management frameworks

You'll:

• Analyse global spend and engage internal stakeholders
• Build category plans from the ground up
• Launch tenders and drive execution
• Gain stakeholder buy-in through influence, insight, and credibility

Experience:

• Experience in indirect procurement (ideally across IT, HR, and services)
• Track record of leading sourcing projects and managing global vendors
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
• Analytical, collaborative, goal-driven mindset
• Experience with Travel and HR categories as well as IT software and licensing would be highly desirable
