Interim HSSE Co-ordinator - £37ph

An exciting opportunity for an Interim HSSE Co-ordinator to join a world-leader in Energy, to drive resilience and monitoring of HSSE.

This company is at the forefront of its field in terms of sustainability, with true aims for carbon neutrality by 2050 and huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy and the cutting-edge technology to support.

This is a 12-month contract, offering up to £37 per hour (umbrella, inside IR35), with a hybrid approach to working from home and in Berkshire.

The Role:

The HSSE Co-ordinator will focus on the co-ordination of HSE metrics, lessons learned, and proactively analyse and manage data.

You will carry out data consolidation, work to understand the data and advise any concerns, issues and consistent risks, supporting on their resolution and mitigation.

There are multiple reporting systems currently in place within the HSSE space, and this role will continuously improve processes, bringing together all of the platforms into one reporting structure and supporting the move away from manual intervention in processes.

You will carry out the reporting of data and incidents across the global business, spanning 13 sites, working closely with and supporting regional teams.

This client is driving the move to a new platform, Connexus, and you will be involved in the transfer of 150 lessons learned from the existing system to the new platform, as well as carrying out onwards management of that.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience within a Health & Safety Discipline.
  • Health and Safety Qualification (e.g. IOSH)
  • A robust understanding of HSE data flows, the information this provides and the ability to convert this into discussion points and actionable insight.
  • Excellent communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
  • Self-managed and autonomous individual.
