Interim HR Applications Business Analyst £270pd

A fantastic interim opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a global, FTSE 100 Energy company and support the centralisation and standardisation of solutions.

This is a contract to the end of August 2023, offering up to £270 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), based working from home and in South-East England.

This Energy world-leader is at the forefront of its field in terms of sustainability, with trues aims for carbon neutrality and huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy solutions and the cutting-edge technology to support.

The Role:

This role will sit in the organisation's global, People and Culture Business Unit, who drive the centralisation and standardisation of services.

You will be part of a team responsible for development and execution of solutions design and deployment for HR. This Team owns Workday, across Personal Data, Compensation, Benefits, Time and Absence, Talent, Recruitment, Payroll and Security solutions.

  • Support Functional Leads with development of solutions for business challenges.
  • Analyse business requirements and engage stakeholders, third parties and technical teams.
  • Ensure solution testing.
  • Provide data analysis for data quality initiatives.
  • Support data migration projects, including data transformation, validation and country support.
  • Support Change Management.
  • Develop and present recommendations for improvement.


  • Ideally, prior experience working with Human Resources Applications.
  • Strong Excel experience.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent skills of communications and relationship building with stakeholders to a senior level.
  • Prior experience within a global, matrix organisation.
