Interim Global Category Manager - £900 (PAYE)

My client, a top multinational Pharmaceutical company, are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Global Category Leader in Professional Services and Legal, to support their offshore/ outsourced IT services.

This role is a 12-month contract, paying up to £900 per day (PAYE/PAYE Umbrella), based in Middlesex.

You will:

• Lead the creation, execution and management of comprehensive global sourcing strategies
• Leverage deep category and market expertise, operating in a truly global manner
• Engage and build strategic relationships with key senior stakeholders and business partners
• Understand the business requirements of key stakeholders and business partners and position the Procurement value proposition
• Deliver the needs of key stakeholders and business partners through creation and execution of global sourcing strategies
• Identify and deliver business benefits aligned to assurance of supply, quality, service, cost and innovation
• Ensuring financial value delivered is recognized by affected stakeholder communities and Finance groups
• Create and deliver effective budgets
• Lead, develop and manage the supply base
• Drive sustainable value from key supplier relationships

Requirements:

• Strong experience working with large corporate buying outsourced/ offshored Indian IT services at a high level
• Demonstrable experience creating and managing global sourcing strategies
• Excellent supplier and stakeholder management skills
