Interim Global Capability Lead - £465pd

An exciting interim opportunity for a Capabilities Lead to join a FTSE 100 Energy company, and provide key support on developing resources, create skills agendas and align the team to the largest opportunities.

This market-leader is at the forefront of its field in terms of sustainability, with huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy solutions and the cutting-edge technology to support.

This is an initial contract to the end of the year (strong opportunity to extend of for permanency), based working from home and in South-East England, offering up to £465 per day (umbrella, inside IR35).

The Role:

As Global Capabilities Lead, you will lead and develop resources, develop a skills agenda and interventions to support this organisation's strategies, and ensure the Team is focused on key opportunities.

  • Lead the capability network of Teams across geographies.
  • Project Manage key, senior stakeholders, to understand their requirements and influence choices.
  • Support Business Partnering Team to drive adoption of the new Learning Platform.
  • Act as main interface for the business, with other areas of the Talent organisation.
  • Develop capability plans for Sales, Customer Services, Marketing, Supply Chain and business requirements.
  • Support development and coaching of the network.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience of working within a large, global, matrix organisation.
  • Experience in Learning and Development of both internal and external networks.
  • Strong Change and Programme Management experience.
  • Confident working with and aligning both countries and regions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement ability to a senior level.
  • Strong exposure to Sales, Marketing or Supply Chain Management environments.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and ways of working.
  • Advantageous would be any experience in global FMCG / global product business.
