Interim Export Control Analyst £560pd

A number of fantastic interim opportunities for Export Control Analysts to join a world-leader in Energy, and provide key support on materials to be controlled for export.

This organisation is at the forefront of its field in sustainability, with huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy solutions and the cutting-edge technology to support.

These are 5 and 11-month contracts, offering up to £560 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), based working from home and in the South-East of England.

The Role:

As Interim Export Control Analyst, you will support the Export Control Lead, by maintaining the confirmed list of materials to be controlled for export. Collaborating with suppliers, you will review and validate export compliance data.

Working closely with Regional colleagues supporting Purchase Order monitoring, you will gain export compliance data from suppliers where Purchase Orders are on hold. You will also work closely with the Logistics supplier to co-ordinate export compliance processes.

You will action and respond to relevant correspondence, including supplier responses, re-export reviews, disposal reviews, purchases and movements and any purchases by the organisation's centralised business unit.

Carrying out vetting, you will approve trusted suppliers from an export compliance perspective, review and risk-assess non-standard buying channels, and carry out necessary training on export compliance risk and processes.

You will run self-classifying or validation of information provided by suppliers, and work with Global Process Owners to assess Risk.

Requirements:

  • Previous, strong experience in Export Controls, on a global basis.
  • Confident working closely with suppliers to get export compliance data, co-ordinate export compliance processes, carry out vetting and ensure approval.
  • Strong experience working with International Trade Regulations.
  • Knowledge of exporting single and dual-purpose goods and materials.
  • Prior experience in a complex, matrix organisation.
