Interim Export Analyst £305pd

A number of fantastic interim opportunities to join a world-leader in Energy, and provide key support on materials to be controlled for export.

This organisation is at the forefront of its field in sustainability, with huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy solutions and the cutting-edge technology to support.

These are 6 and 12-month contracts, offering up to £305 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), based working from home and in the South-East of England.

The Role:

As Interim Export Analyst, you will look at critical items for export, to identify valves, steel pipes, gaskets, flanges, and pressure chambers. You will review technical schematics and diagrams, identify dimensions, review suppliers' literature and make identifications.

You will assess whether these mechanical items for expert could potentially be captured or would be dual purpose, and identify whether they should be classified, controlled or uncontrolled.

The Team utilises an Excel spreadsheet containing big data, i.e. 30k items, and you will be required to search and navigate this effectively.

You will be provided with relevant training on the legislation and regulations around Export and Control.

Requirements:

  • Ability to identify a mechanical item and determine its diameter from relevant literature, e.g. a valve, gasket, or pump.
  • Good understanding of Excel and the ability to search through big data.
  • Confident dealing with stakehodler across levels and functions.
  • "Can do" attitude and the skills to prioiritise under pressure.
  • Prior experience in a complex, matrix organisation.
