Interim Digital Transformation Strategy Manager £650pd

An incredibly exciting interim opportunity for a Digital Transformation Strategy Manager to join a world-leader in FMCG and drive their holistic strategy across digital Direct to Customer (D2C) and Business to Business (B2B) channels.

This is a 12-month contract, offering £650 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), based working from home and in their offices in London 2-3 days per week.

The Role:

As Digital Strategy Manager, you will sit in the Global Consumer Digital Transformation Team, who are responsible for the strategy across D2D channels, owned websites and their connection to B2C online channels.

This is a varied role, you will define and deliver the Digital Commerce strategy approach, and look at how this FTSE 100 organisation can collect data to make truly informed decisions. You will collect and analyse data points from various sources, including Google Analytics, Keyword Research, Amazon, Youtube, and Social Listening Cues.

You will play a key role in communicating the strategy to the wider business, by coming up with the data and triangulating this into a strategy that the entire business will buy into. As such, effective story-telling, communications and narrative will be crucial.

Taking the fundamental business objectives, you will ladder up to initiatives the wider business aims to achieves, understanding where Consumer needs to intersect and how various channels can support this.

You will proactively identify opportunities for channels and maintain an awareness of market trends.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Digital Strategy, Transformation, or Experience Design, as a strategist or planner.
  • 3-7 years managing digital projects.
  • Excellent understanding of consumer digital ecosystems, including D2C, Marketplaces, Pure Players, Quick Commerce, and e-Grocery.
  • Prior experience in global roles, with a large, matrix organisation, working across seniority levels and functions.
  • Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders effectively to a senior level.
  • Continuous-improvement mindset and proactive in identifying potential issues.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Digital Analytics (Google Analytics, Search Keywords, Media effectiveness, Social Listening, etc.) and Consumer Behavioural Research.
