Role: Digital Innovation Manager

Location: Wales

Hybrid: Yes (mostly remote)

Day rate: £350-500pd (tbc)

Introduction

This is an excellent interim opportunity that sits within a national organisation supporting innovation and improvement across Wales. The role focuses on how digital innovation can enable strengths-based, person centred care, working closely with partners across health, support, academia and the wider innovation ecosystem. The post operates on a hybrid basis across Wales.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of a strategic approach to digital innovation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional and UK wide partners
• Provide evidence based advice and insight on digital innovation to support policy, practice and service redesign
• Lead and manage digital innovation projects, including timelines, stakeholders and outcomes
• Support procurement activity linked to digital innovation initiatives and supplier engagement

Requirements

• Strong experience leading digital or technology enabled innovation projects within public sector environments
• Deep understanding of the digital and policy landscape in Wales, including co-design and co-production approaches
• Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships and influence at senior level
• Confident project manager with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a complex stakeholder environment
