Interim Construction Category Manager - £350/day (Inside IR35)

Interim Construction Category Manager urgently required for an initial 3 month contract to work with a local authority in Central London undergoing a transformation in the way they procure goods and services for Construction & FM.

Responsibilities:

• The provision of advice to the Project Sponsor and Project Board/Team on the Council's procurement processes and best practice with regards to the commercial aspects of procurement activities,
• Leading on project management of the procurement work-stream,
• Sourcing the provider,
• Drafting tender and contract documents including support for the development of requirement specification
• Managing the contract award process

Experience Required

• Experience of FM/Construction/Environment procurement within a local authority
• Strong experience of managing OJEU compliant tenders
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships
