An exciting opportunity to join a vibrant Communications Team, within a world-leading Energy Company, in a blended Communications and Project Management role for employee engagement.

This company is at the forefront of its field in terms of sustainability, with aims to become carbon neutral by 2050 and huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy solutions and the technology to support.

This is an initital contract to the end of December 2022, with strong scope for extension, offering up to £440 per day (umbrella, inside IR35) and based working from home and in their offices in London once per week.

The Role:

As Interim Communications and Project Manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to employee measurement and insight, responsible for global employment engagement surveys and continuous insight surveys. In addition, this FTSE 100 organisation is looking to implement exit interviews and new joiner surveys.

At a time where my client is going into annual polls, they require a contractor with a strong communications background to come in and own communications, with a heavy delivery and project focus. Day to day, you will create communications packs, develop comprehensive and realistic communications plans, and create communications for the CEO to distribute across the business.

There is a strong Project management element to the role, where you will ensure targets are being met on time, liaise with third party agencies and ensure survey tasks are signed off.


  • Excellent Communications background and strong Project Management.
  • Previous experience owning communications, and exposure to creating key messaging in an organisation.
  • Demonstrable ability to engage with stakeholders up to a senior level, as well as effectively manage external agencies.
  • Previous experience in large, matrix organisations.
  • Strong creativity and excellent organisational skills.
