Interim Commercial Lead - REMOTE £450pd (inside)

Currently recruiting an Interim Commercial Lead to join my esteemed client in the public sector and develop best-in-class category strategies.

This role is an initial 3-month contract, based entirely from home, paying up to £450 per day (in scope of IR35, working through an Umbrella company).

You will:

• Closely liaise with suppliers and stakeholders up to senior level, to develop strong, working relationships.
• Maintain an in-depth category knowledge, providing advice and insight.
• Use knowledge and strategic category management ability to drive and create best-in-class strategies.
• Achieve outstanding customer service, driving added value and growth.
• Support in the management for implemented products.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Have the opportunity to develop category areas.
• Train and develop individuals.

Requirements:

• Significant commercial experience within a public sector environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience of public sector sourcing frameworks.
• Demonstrable ability to build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships.
• Experience developing category and product strategies.
• Strong experience with risk mitigation, savings generation and benefit realisation.
• Demonstrable experience delivering strategic supplier management to enhance category and supplier performance.
