Interim Category Manager Soft Services - £400 - £500 per day

My client, a global real estate provider, are seeking an experienced Interim Category Manager for soft services, across the cleaning, security and landscaping categories. This role is a 3-month contract, based in London.

Role:

You will oversee the category management, strategic sourcing and supplier activities across Soft Services, through:

• Category management, planning and strategy
• Ensuring consistency across the supply chain
• Sourcing, leading and managing procurement projects for the category
• Managing the tender process
• Stakeholder engagement and management of stakeholder relationships
• Monitoring and analysing supplier performance, and maintaining supplier relationships
• Ensuring compliance with procurement and supply chain governance

Desired Skills / Experience:

• 5 years procurement and supply management experience, ideally within relevant soft FM categories
• Experience undertaking national procurement activity across multiple sites
• Demonstrable stakeholder and supplier management experience
• Experience with large spends of £10m and above
• Ability to demonstrate value, insight and innovation development
