Interim Category Manager - £430pd
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Interim Category Manager to join my FTSE 100, leading Energy client, in support of their large Change project, spanning multiple, global category teams.
This client is at the forefront of their field in terms of sustainability, with aims to become carbon neutral by 2050 and significant investment going into sustainable energies and the technology to support this.
This role is offering up to £430 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35), with a blended approach to working from home and in their offices in South-East England.
This role will lead and deliver a large Change Management project for Procurement and Supply Chain, planning, managing and executing this Change across multiple categories, with a global scope.
You will build strong relationships with a key set of geographically-dispersed stakeholders up to a senior level, and work closely with system and process leads to ensure Change is in line with requirements.
This role will also involve Contract Management activities, including supporting on invoice queries and dispute resolution.
You will have accountability for supporting development and execution of category strategies, preparation of RFP and Contract documentation, preparation of bid evaluation plans and recommendation for award.
You will drive and provide performance management updates to the Leadership Team.
- Demonstrable record of strong supply chain and contracts activity, ideally within Oil and Gas.
- Excellent Contract Management experience.
- Strong Project / change Management experience within Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Systems experience with Ariba and Maximo.
- Ability to communicate successfully with various internal and external stakeholders up to a senior level.
