Interim Category Manager - Environment
Interim Category Manager - Environment required to work with a public sector body in the Bedfordshire area to lead key projects within waste contracts and transport.
Role Description;
- Lead on all procurement related issues across Waste, Transport and Environment.
- Achieve value for money and improvements in efficiency
- Work with senior stakeholders on the development of specifications and all contract management related issues
- Lead on OJEU tendering activities
- Ensure Category plans are aligned with the corporate goals
Key Competencies
- Recent Public sector experience ideally with a local authority
- Category experience across a range of categories
- Experience leading strategic end to end tenders
- OJEU experience
- Experience delivering cost savings
