Interim Carbon Advisor - £655 per day

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Carbon Advisor to join a world-leading Energy company, to identify and deliver key plans to reduce emissions.

This FTSE 100 company is undergoing huge transformation in terms of sustainability, with aims to become Carbon Neutral by 2050 and investing significantly in sustainable energies and the cutting-edge technology to support.

An initial 12-month contract, this role offers up to £655 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), with a blended approach to working from home and in South-East England.

The Role:
The Carbon Advisor will act as a subject matter expert in carbon emissions and reductions in greenhouse gases. You will sit in a dynamic team of 9 heads, to help the business identify, build and deliver plans to truly reduce carbon emissions.

You will share learning and best practice on achieving emissions reduction, and co-ordinate relevant communication and training material. You will coach and advise on greenhouse gas data reporting, to support the business' understanding of trends and performance.

Requirements:

• Strong environmental or Engineering background, with an emissions or carbon focus.
• Exposure to greenhouse gas reporting and forecasting, methodologies, equipment and tools.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry environments.
• Excellent communication skills up to a senior level.
