Interim CAPEX Procurement Manager £598pd

A fantastic opportunity for an Interim Procurement Manager, with CAPEX or Construction experience, to join a FSTE 100 Pharmaceutical company currently going through huge amounts of exciting corporate change, and support their major UK and Ireland projects across 10 sites.

This is a 6 month opportunity, offering up to £598 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35), based working from home and in London.

The Role:

You will deliver Capital Expenditure projects across the UK and Ireland for Global Supply Chain and Real Estate, spanning 10 sites.

  • Ensure successful project delivery and manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Act as Global Procurement Partner for CAPEX, end to end.
  • Define and Execute the Procurement Strategy for CAPEX projects.
  • Carry out effective Contract Management.
  • Update group Category Managers on supplier performance and issues.
  • Conduct business reviews with Senior Management to ensure requirements are being met and driving continuous improvement.
  • Sourcing and implementation of Capital Construction services.

Requirements:

  • 10 years + end-to-end Procurement experience, with strong exposure to Construction or CAPEX.
  • Strong Category Management experience, including the development of category strategies and value generation.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
  • Good Project Management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, up to a senior level.
  • Prior experience in large, matrix organisations.
