Interim - Assistant Quantity Surveyor £450pd

Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor (NEC Construction / Infrastructure)
Rate: £350-450 per day
Client: Major Defence organisation
Location: Hybrid working and in Surrey
Length: 6-12 month contract

An exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Defence organisation, in support of business-critical, infrastructure projects, under the NEC form of contract.

You will play a key role in supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Team, ensuring that project and contract data is captured, validated, and reported accurately.

This role will suit someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent data handling skills, and a good understanding of construction project processes.

Skills & Experience

• Prior experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (QS).
• Experience working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, or Commercial.
• Prior experience within Defence.
• Working knowledge of NEC contract processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
• Strong communication skills
