Interim Assistant Project Manager - Workplace Security £406

An exciting opportunity for an Interim Workplace Security Assistant Project Manager to join a high-profile, busy team, within a FTSE 100 Energy Organisation, in support of 45 projects globally.

This leading Energy company is currently going through a huge amount of exciting corporate change, with true aims for carbon neutrality by 2050 and large amounts of investment going into sustainable solutions and the cutting-edge tech to support.

This is a 6-12 month contract, offering up to £406 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), with a hybrid approach to working from home and in South-East England, as well as some project-dependent UK-wide and EU travel.

The Role:

You will be part of a fast-paced, high profile team of Security Managers, within a Project environment. This Team is responsible for the security for new builds and existing refurbishments, and you will drive the Security Function to move at the required pace.

Your workload will include 45 projects globally in this hands-on position, reviewing spaces and ensuring the security input is annotated.

You will need to maintain a good understanding of security technology, including CCTV, Video Analysis systems, Genetech, network systems and C*Cure 9000, including how these work and their benefits.

This role will require the successful candidate to be flexible in terms to travel to project sites, which will be UK wide, as well as some EU travel, across France, Spain, and Germany.

This role offers an unmatched chance to develop and move into a leading role within Security.

  • Around 7 years' project experience, as part of a successful project team.
  • Security experience - exposure to C*Cure 9000, Genetech, and Access Cameras, and a strong understanding of their benefits.
  • Strong communication ability, with stakeholders up to a senior level.
  • Agile mindset and a delivery focus.
  • Experience within a global, matrix organisation.
  • Ideally, Project Management qualification.
