Role: Indirect Category Manager - Engineering 60k+package

Salary: Up to £55k - £60K + Package (Pension, Bonus, Medical, Life Assurance)

Location: Twickenham office base 2 / 3 days per week + Remote working from home.

Role type: Permanent| Fulltime

This will ideally suit a category Manager with background experience in Defence, Rail, Utilities, Oil & Gas etc. Our client, a leading UK 'Blue-Chip', is looking to recruit an ambitious Indirect Category Manager demonstrating a broad commercial mindset and a passion for innovation and value creation.

The role will sit within the Engineering, FM and Equipment category with spends of c£130 million). This will include sub-categories such as - Fire, FM/Maintenance, Mechanic Maintenance etc.

You will have exposure across the full 7 step life-cycle of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, SRM (incl. KPI's/SLA's).

Skills Experience Required

• Strong experience within Indirects category
• Strong hands-on contract management/legal contracts experience, contract drafting ideal, but not essential
• Successful track record in purchasing and negotiations with suppliers
• Experience across Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, SRM
• Degree or CIPS
