1St-Executive are currently working with a client within the Public sector, who are actively recruiting for the following:

To provide strategic direction and leadership of the Local Authorities Procurement function. To work collaboratively with directors and senior commissioning managers to develop the commissioning and contract management activity as part of the commissioning cycle. To provide professional procurement services that promotes and protects the commercial and reputational interests of the Public sector and complies with all relevant regulation requirements. The Head of Procurement will be responsible for improving the procurement performance in the Building, through supporting and developing the role of the Commercial and Transformation Board and Delivery Group by actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency and commercial skills and practices across the Organisation.

You will be overseeing the change management process in the division.
