The role

The role will see you responsible for the development and deployment of global standards, processes & systems utilization strategies for the European region and in collaboration with the Group Head of Procurement Excellence.

You will carry out strategy development and execution under the leadership of the Global Category Manager and the functional management of a team of three Local Category Managers (on dotted line).

Person spec

• Demonstrable record of successfully managing a procurement support function (such as Market Intelligence, Sustainability, Risk, Procurement Technology)
• Extensive proven experience and detailed knowledge of the respective support function
• Profound knowledge of the use of tools, processes and technology as an enabler for enhancing procurement organization
• Demonstrated experience of implementing strategies and structures of the respective support function
• European/Global scope focused role
