Head of Food and Beverage Procurement

Based remotely but 2 days in the office

Our client a Major Global FMCG Organisation are now seeking a Head of Food and Beverage Procurement to join their team. Reporting into the Director of Procurement and Supply Chain you will take responsibility for the Purchasing of spend across UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead the sourcing strategy for Food and Beverage across UK and Ireland

Design and Implement category strategies which significantly improve the commercial performance at a regional level

Work with acquisition teams to drive efficiencies across the overall supply chain

Negotiate regional agreements and secure best net prices

Lead, manage and develop a d team of category managers to ensure best practice throughout the procurement division

Set and deliver ambitious annual savings objectives to deliver the regional target achievement

Person specification

Ideally graduate calibre with CIPS qualification preferred

Strong category management experience within Food and Beverages

Ability in working in a multi-cultural and matrix environment

Proven-track records in complex contract negotiation

Excellent external networking capabilities and presentation skills

Team player with excellent communication and influencing skills

Strong management ability and experience of developing and training individuals
