Governance & Compliance Manager (£55K) West Sussex

1st Executive are currently supporting a leading utilities company who are going through fundamental change within their procurement function, to transition from a tactical approach to implementing strategic category management. Part of this process, I am looking to identify a Governance & Compliance Manager for the delivery and compliance of the Procurement governance framework, policies and processes in order to enable delivery of the business change.

Job Title: Governance & Compliance Manager

Salary: £55K to £60K

Location: West Sussex

Role overview:

• Implement the Procurement governance framework, policies, and processes, and communicate any changes, providing training, support and guidance to ensure consistent and efficient uptake
• Drive and monitor compliance, addressing non-compliance effectively and reporting to relevant stakeholder
• Evaluate and drive improvements in the governance framework, policies, and processes, facilitating delivery of relevant business objectives
• Oversee change management and communication plans
• Support management of Procurement risks/issues and operational budget, and assess effectiveness of governance in delivering against its aims
