1st Executive are recruiting on behalf of a global, industry leading pharmaceutical business to bolster the reputation of the logistics operation at government level.
Based at the coporate office, and reporting to the Customs Compliance Consultant, the Global Logistics AEO implementation lead will be intstrumental in helping the company achieve AEO status.
This role is critical in supporting the Director, Global Logistics to ensure and enable the UK logistics operations of the business achieve AEO status, along with helping to secure new warehousing facilities in mainland Europe.
Working with the Customs Compliance SME across related areas to enable the business to apply for and, ultimately be awarded, Authorized Economic Operator status in 2019. This requires taking on board the C118 questionnaire and developing a response to each question as part of the company's submission for AEOS and AEOC accrediation.
To achieve this, the Implementation Lead will work with our freight forwarding partners to manage the identification, auditing process, contracting and set up of new warehouses in 5 key locations across Europe.
A strong technical proficiency will be complemented by the ability to act as an ambassador for for the business.
Ability to travel across Europe and possibly to the US as required by the business.
- Experienced Logistic professional worked with 3PLs and SAP
- ISO standards expertise
- Direct experience of gaining AEO certification
- Relevant experience within a regulated environment
- Strong Logistics background
- A confident and tenacious personality and a true self-starter.
