Interim Global IT Procurement Manager - £350-450 per day

My client, a multi-national leader in manufacturing, are seeking a Global IT Procurement Manager to join their team in Hertfordshire on an interim basis.

This is a 5 month initial contract, with potential to extend, paying up to £450 per day.

The Role:

The Global IT Procurement Manager will lead high-value negotiations of contract renewals and RFPs for IT software, hardware and services

You will:

* Negotiate renewals of IT hardware, software and services contracts
* Lead and carry out end to end sourcing strategies
* Develop continuous improvement plans
* Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships
* Provide relevant market and financial insights
* Implement best practice and carry out team knowledge transfer

Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience managing global IT software/ hardware procurement
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Experience of IT procurement in a fast-paced private sector function across all IT
services
* Experience managing multiple IT tenders
* Strong skills of Supplier Relationship Management
