Role: Global Inventory Management & Supply Risk Lead
Interim: 4-month interim placement
Location: Remote working
Salary: £500-800pd (or if you're outside this range, please get in touch and let me know what your day rate requirements are/have been previously)
Exciting opportunity to join a growing pharmaceutical company going through a strategic transformation.
If you're an Inventory Manager with experience in Pharma, ideally have transformation/greenfield experience, are able to manage daily operations while creating processes from scratch, please get in touch.
Responsibilities will cover a range of the following tasks:
Inventory Management
- Manage inventory modelling tools, systems and processes to synchronize demand and supply around all product categories, alongside definition of Safety Stock, MOQ/EOQ and target setting
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Global Operations and External Supply Operations in agreeing upon inventory optimization initiatives. Design, implement and continuously improve inventory processes
- Lead inventory buffer modelling efforts across the network. Responsible for master data integrity and process
- Ensure the cross-fertilization of Inventory know-how within the organization. Lead effective change management and bi-directional information flow with all relevant stakeholders
Supply Risk Management
- Lead the Global Supply Risk Management Process including recommendations of strategic and tactical mitigation measures. Liaise with HUBs, Local Hub Planners for CMOs, In-House planning and other relevant stakeholders
- Ensure the transparency on tactical and strategic supply risks and drive mitigation actions globally
- Advise and consult with the strategy teams and GSC to ensure supply risks are considered within GSC projects
Your qualification:
- 10+ years' experience in Inventory Management and planning processes in complex, international organizations
- Direct experience with process & tools design and implementation in the domain of S&OP and Inventory Management
- Excellent knowledge of business processes including planning, order fulfilment, capacity and supply planning, master data and life-cycle management
- Experience in LEAN assessments and implementations as well as in global program and project management, APICS and project management certification preferred
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or similarly regulated environment preferred
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- APO knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to engage and collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally. Can shift gear seamlessly in a rapidly changing business environment and can manage ambiguity
- Experience in building an organization with a fast-paced environment; experience with leading transformational change as well as in leading development teams across multiple countries and locations
- Ideally University degree in Supply Chain or Science (Engineering or related fields) or Economics/Finance or equivalent
