Procurement Category Lead - Property and FM - Woking

You will be responsible for providing excellent commercial support and guidance to the Property and FM team to allow them to perform in a demanding and perfection driven industry.

Kay Accountabilities:

• Management of managed services category (FM and Property) to represent the business' best commercial interests.
• Applying expert judgement to enable the organisation to collaboratively make well balanced commercial decisions.
• Support and challenge senior leadership to achieve optimal results
• Act as liaison with suppliers, ensuring stakeholder requirements and concerns are fully understood and ensure these are fed back during the appropriate stages to the suppliers.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholder departments and businesses to drive quality, service and commercial rigour into every aspect of our business.
• Management of self to ensure delivery of own objectives and enable other team members.

Required skills/education:

• Membership of CIPS / open to studying for CIPS qualification & educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Category procurement experience, ideally including FM, Lease management, Construction and Utilities Purchasing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and support in the development of negotiation strategies for large and complex projects and contracts
