Are you an experienced logistics professional with experience of working in a stringently regulated environment? Do you have strong SAP skills and a good working knowledge of trade compliance?

1st Executive are recruiting on behalf of a global, industry leading pharmaceutical business to further strengthen the logistics function of the business.

Your role:

Based at the corporate office, and reporting to the Director of Global Logistics, The Export Co-ordinator will provide back up to the Customer Services team by providing operational capability.

Key Focus

Create and manage export and import documents, in a timely manner, on an ad-hoc basis. The role is to provide back up to the Customer Services team.

Manage and track the progress of all export and import shipments end to end (using tools like DHL LifeTrack)

Check inventory movements in SAP.

Apply knowledge of Global Trade Compliance Software

Demonstrate knowledge of trade compliance terminology; such as incoterms, HTS codes, FDA codes and knowledge of EU and US regulations in the healthcare industry

Manage import and export documents to meet HMRC customs audit requirements.

Develop relationships with Commercial teams and external customers within assigned countries.

Maintain files and records of orders.

Work to improve order management and related supply chain processes in order to improve customer service and department efficiency.

Chase, monitor, register key export and import documents such as permits, EUR1s, COO, POAs etc and store on the Global Logistics Share Point

Collate a full set of export/import documents, for every shipment in 2018 and late 2017 and store on Global Logistics Share Point.

Write Work Instructions, in collaboration with all company and DHL parties, to ensure all aspects are planned. Refinements will then need to be made after initial deliveries.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to travel across UK and Europe.

Candidate Considerations:

  1. Experienced Logistic professional with 3PL and SAP proficiency
  2. Ideally experience of working in an AEO environment
  3. Relevant experience within a regulated environment
  4. Experience of working in an AEO environment as well as road, air and sea shipments and cold chain
  5. Self starter mentality with a confidant personality.
