Role: Regional Procurement Manager - Engineering/Capex
Location: Rotterdam
Hybrid: Flexible, 2-3 days home working, 2-3 days office/site
Salary: €70-90k + 15% bonus + lease car + health benefits + training budget
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable energy? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join a rapidly growing global leader in energy infrastructure striving towards a carbon-neutral future.
With procurement being entirely greenfield, you'll make a significant impact by shaping and owning the regional equipment category, overseeing an initial spend of €150-200 million. Excitingly, the company is expanding rapidly, growing procurement this year and planning to double again by the end of 2025 - putting you in a fantastic position for progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional and global procurement strategies for technical categories, focusing on rotating equipment, mechanical components, and other critical infrastructure needs
- Lead negotiations and manage both long and short global/regional framework agreements
- Develop and implement structured procurement strategies, leveraging the 7-step sourcing process to optimise spend and supplier relationships
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with operational and technical requirements
- Travel to various sites across Europe to oversee procurement activities and engage with on-site teams
Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of procurement experience
- Exposure to any CAPEX, OPEX, EPC, equipment, engineering etc is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to "roll up the sleeves" and drive results in a greenfield setting
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to sites across Europe
