The Company:

You will be based in Amsterdam and working within a Global 500 Manufacturing business, employing 90,000 people across c.3,500 operating locations in over 30 countries. Our client manufactures and supplies a range of materials, products and innovative solutions which can be found throughout major public infrastructure projects, commercial buildings and residential structures.

The Role:

The role will see you involved in the procurement of Heavy Equipment with a main focus on complex vehicle lease contracts. You will carry out strategy development and execution under the leadership of the Global Category Manager and be the functional manager of a team of three Local Category Managers (on dotted line).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as category manager of indirect spend in a large, complex multi-country organization, preferably in the area of HME or Fleet
• Demonstrable track record in managing significant category spends in HME, Fleet, CAPEX or MRO
• Excellent stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams across a matrix
• European/Global scope focused role
