Director of Business Intelligence
Our client a leading Pharmaceutical and Global Organisation are seeing a Director of Business Intelligence.
In this role you will take responsibility for driving strategic support, data analysis and integration, and key operations for a growing portfolio within the business. You will lead and develop a small team and align closely across business partners and support functions. You will also take responsibility for competitive analyses and regular financial support.
Key duties include:
You will manage the data integration processes to ensure data accuracy, both external and internal, are loaded properly in systems
Oversees product registration activities, including internal item set-
Align launch timelines with internal business partners and communicate decisions to respective parties
Review and drive execution of periodic and ad-hoc cost savings analysis on products, communicating
Oversee regular communication of competitive business position analysis
Run month-end close inventory FIFO process and reports
Support annual budget planning activities, including data extraction, intercompany pricing, and erosion analysis
Manage and support intercompany pricing reports and inquiries
Lead and participate in project meetings to align priorities with internal customers in the group
Lead and develop a high-performing team of 2-4 managers and analysts
Person Specification:
Ideally a minimum of 10 years work experience within management, business intelligence and analytics, business development or strategy ideally within the broader healthcare or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries or relevant industry experience
Ability to evaluate industry trends, developing long-term implications and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities and developing business plans
Understanding of financial modelling and experience with financial planning, budgeting and capital allocation in the context of strategic planning, price management to maximize shareholder value
Have gravitas along with strong presentation skills to liaise with Senior level internal stakeholders
Experience in building a new team and ideally working across a matrix organization
Knowledge of the following tools is ideal: SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, and other data mining tools
