Role: Demand Planner - 9 month FTC (IMMEDIATE START)
Location: Work from home - Occasional meetings required near Birmingham

Salary: £45k + pension

Excellent opportunity to join a leading global manufacturing company as a Demand Planner.

This exciting and challenging Demand Panning role offers an experienced supply chain professional the chance to join a dynamic function with an experienced and welcoming senior leadership team.


You will collaborate with the broader Supply Chain team, Head of Sales, Sales teams, and Account Managers to fulfil this Demand Planner role. Ideally you will have 3 years of demand planning experience within a manufacturing environment and be able to identify areas for improvement and communicate effectively with a diverse stakeholder community. This is a role that will require you to set up the Demand Planning process from an immature state therefore is a fantastic opportunity to raise your profile within the business and contribute to the function.

The role of the Demand Planner is to:

  • Analyse the forecast accuracy and constantly improve the future model
  • Continuously improve the forecasting model
  • Data cleansing
  • Contribute to S&OP processes and activities
  • Build demand forecasts using forecasting software - Future Master
  • Gather market insights from relevant places
  • Provide sales forecasts
  • Build excellent relationships with the Sales and Supply Chain teams

To be considered the ideal Demand Planner will:

  • Be Immediately available to start within the next 2-3 weeks
  • Ideally have 3 years previous Demand Planning and forecasting experience
  • Be comfortable establishing the processes and function from an immature state and taking ownership
  • Ideally have worked within a manufacturing organisation
  • Have experience using forecasting software, ideally Future Master
  • Maintain knowledge of advanced planning techniques
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
