I am currently recruiting for a global business looking for a Demand Planner who is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support effective supply chain planning, inventory management, and customer service. This role analyzes sales trends, market data, and customer insights to generate reliable demand plans that align with business objectives.

Key Duties Include:

  • Develop and maintain accurate short-term and long-term demand forecasts at product and SKU level.
  • Analyze historical sales trends, market trends, and seasonality to identify demand drivers.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather input and insights for forecast adjustments.
  • Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting forecast data and key assumptions.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvements to forecasting models and processes.
  • Identify potential demand risks and opportunities, communicating recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain forecast data within relevant planning systems
  • Support inventory management goals by providing clear visibility on anticipated demand.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards on forecast performance, accuracy, and KPIs.
  • Contribute to projects to optimize planning processes and tools.

Key Skills required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, inventory, and production planning principles.
  • 2-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or a similar role.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, manufacturing, or related industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and forecasting software.
