Data and Reporting Manager

London - Hybrid working 1-2 days across London-based sites

Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Data and Reporting Manager who will have responsibility for developing, delivering, and maintaining business intelligence and data management to facilitate effective monitoring of compliance and progress. These will systemise Procedures as appropriate and embed lean methodologies. The role will also support the improved management of data and delivery of KPIs to measure performance throughout the procurement cycle whilst effectively monitoring procurement engagement in the wider business to drive improved performance as part of the general performance monitoring undertaken.

As Data and Reporting Manager, you will lead, inspire and drive a culture of continual improvement, ensuring that business processes are effective and efficient and enable the highest possible levels of service quality to be provided. You will also be required to develop and oversee data analysis and management, as well as developing business intelligence activities associated specifically to support delivery of excellent customer service, best value for money and compliance with governance. Key to this role will be the requirement to maximise the opportunity to add value during the procurement cycle through business intelligence and innovative approaches to data management and reporting.

Key competencies:

• Professional operational service delivery and business management
• Knowledge to degree equivalent plus further management experience or training to post graduate diploma level or equivalent
• Evidence of CPD
• MCIPS Qualified or working towards MCIPS desirable

Key skills & knowledge:

• Significant data management/analysis experience including use of leading business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc)
• Significant experience producing and delivering business intelligence reporting
• Significant experience of stakeholder management in a customer and results
• focused environment
• Performance management in a multi-site environment
• Evidence of providing and receiving complex information,
• Experience in being persuasive and motivational, with the ability to negotiate and train others
• Experience in handling complex facts or situations, requiring analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options.
• Evidence of planning and organising a broad range of complex activities; and formulating, adjusting plans or strategies.
• Experience in using software or systems to develop performance, statistical or management reports
• Ideally you will have some previous experience of working as a Procurement Manager
• Analysis: Skilled in being able to conduct analysis on complex data sets to provide concise insights
• Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills,
• demonstrating ability to engage with stakeholders at multi levels
• Leading and Managing Others: Strong project leadership and management
• capabilities and experience, with capacity to manage multiple small and medium sized projects
• Commercial reasoning
• Change Management: Understands change management and process
• improvement with experience in supporting business process / organisational change
