I am currently recruiting for a leading utility company, who have a requirement for a Contracts and Supplier Manager to join their team of high-performing procurement professionals in Worthing, West Sussex.
In this role you will be leading the management of aggregated contracts and supplier relationships within the OPEX categories. This will be an exciting opportunity to take on the responsibility of heading the relationship between suppliers and key stakeholders. A strong-willed and determined individual is needed to drive performance against contractual expectations, cost reductions and value maximisation for the client.
Benefits include a salary of between £48K-£60K, and a strong package including 5-10% bonus, matched pension contributions and healthcare.
The type of experience required for this role includes:
- Experience of developing and managing supplier relations and performance in a complex environment.
- Proficiency in gathering information from multiple stakeholders and using that to analyse supplier performance.
- The ability to engage in influence stakeholders, especially through resistance.
- A deep understanding of contractual mechanisms and contract lifecycle management capability specifically with regards to OPEX category contracts.
