We are recruiting for a Contract Manager working remotely for an independent company working within the Public Sector.
The role will manage the day-to-day contract management including contract administration for two suppliers of audit services. You will bring your commercial skills, knowledge, and experience to manage & monitor in accordance with our detailed contract management processes, procedures in relation to contract and client performance and ensure all legislative and the many detailed contract requirements are adhered to.
Location: Remote - (1 day in London office every 6 weeks)
Salary: £67,000 to £75.000
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor, analyse, capture and report on assigned suppliers' contractual performance including KPIs, Method Statements and compliance in accordance with our contract management framework and agreed procedures and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract management matters including relating to performance, supplier and correspondence in accordance with our contract management framework and agreed procedures and systems
- Be the initial point of contact for all assigned suppliers for contract management matters
- Proactively track and follow-up supplier and actions
- Actively support the development of our contract management systems and processes.
- To work with the audit division in the evaluation of auditors' use of additional powers (requirement will be developed over time)
- Capture and manage risks, issues and lessons learned, and actively contribute to our Contract Management group to enhance and support consistency of approach, and share good practice and lessons learned
- Monitor developments and emerging issues relating to the audit regime
- Maintain an awareness of fee variations submitted by your assigned suppliers
- Establish and maintain effective, productive relationships for assigned suppliers and with key stakeholders relevant to the role.
- Work flexibly to meet changing business priorities, e.g. to support the delivery of procurements and projects, and deputise for the Chief Operating Officer & & Deputy Chief Executive when required
- Comply with relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies and procedures when carrying out the role, for example the Appointing Person regulations, procurement regulations and data protection regulations.
