The purpose of the role

As a Contract and Supplier Manager you will support the delivery of the supplier and contract management strategies within their assigned category. This involves delivering best practice contract lifecycle management, and fostering cohesive, transparent relationships with suppliers to deliver joint value creation. In addition, the Contract and Supplier Manager coordinates with contract end users, providing ongoing communication and support, and assists the Sourcing Manager in the review and finalisation of contracts to ensure commercially competitive agreements and drive value maximisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver contract and supplier management strategy, as directed by the Senior Contract & Supplier Manager for all assigned supplier contracts
  • Aggregate contract and supplier performance metrics, engaging with the business to gather feedback, and share with C&SM Manager and Senior C&SM Manager to inform strategy development and improvement plans
  • Create and maintain central opportunity/issue log to track problems, issues, and opportunities, and share with Centre of Excellence to improve contracting frameworks
  • Implement contract management strategies in line with contract lifecycle management best practice framework

Experience & Skills

  • Solid background in Contract Management and SRM
  • Detailed knowledge of contract forms and experience of contract drafting
  • Strong ability to deliver against financial targets and timescales
  • Deep understanding of contractual mechanisms and contract lifecycle management Capability
