Role: Communications Manager

Duration: 12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

Salary: Up to £45K + Car Allowance + Package

Location: London (2 Days p/w in the office)

A leading FM services organisations seeks a corporate Communications Manager to undertake a 12-month fixed term contract. The jobholder will join at an exciting time as our client undertakes a corporate re-branding project - for a business unit that reports revenue in excess of €10Bn, with c70,000 employees spanning 20 countries.

Role:

You will be part of a team of 7, and will be aligned to the external communications priorities that support the corporate re-branding project:

Work closely with Marketing & Comunications Director to achieve successful above and through the line communication actions for the UK business

  • Create and develop a corporate and divisional digital communication strategy and associated system of governance
  • Propose, implement and develop digital communications strategy, including presence across a number of channels (including website, social media accounts and corporate video)
  • Management, development and creation of digital content to support UK strategy
  • Management of the Corporate Brand across the UK
  • Manage the content and updating of the UK website and social media channels
  • Manage or co-ordinate delivery of advertising campaigns for the UK
  • Organise and coordinate key external corporate events and sponsorships
  • Support Divisional Communication Managers with external and digital communication initiatives across the UK

Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of the key elements associated with an effective external and digital communications programme.
  • Excellent written skills and experience in writing copy for digital communications
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, CMS and social media channels such as Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Experience in management of internal communications tools, such as Intranet and Sharepoint
  • Knowledge of the FM services and energy markets would be beneficial, but is not essential
