Commercial Procurement Specialist - £390 per day - Leicestershire

A great opportunity to join a public sector organisation on an interim basis on a 12 month assignment.

The role will pay £390 per day on an interim basis and predominantly based from the site in Leicestershire.

As the Commercial Specialist you will be working alongside Commissioners, Procurement and various other stakeholders to provide a commercial approach at all stages of the commissioning cycle.

Responsibilities

Provide market intelligence, partake in market research to establish trends and long term views

Provide supplier/spend analysis and facilitate commissioners to identify opportunities and savings

Lead on the development of category plans

Promote the development of commercial partnerships across sectors to increase opportunities for joint and integrated working

Advise on development of outcomes and supporting performance metrics

Provide quality assurance for the sourcing process

Advise on the commissioning and decommissioning process

To be successful in this role

You must be part of full MCIPS qualified or relevant experience

Experience of working with senior managers and stakeholders to support the development and implementation of commissioning strategies and plans

A proven track record in leading high value, complex sourcing activity though all stages of the procurement life cycle, including business case development, options analysis and effective market engagement

Experience of successfully engaging with a range of stakeholders
