Commercial Procurement Manager - Progressive role - £50k per annum plus benefits

A unique opportunity has arisen to join one of UK's leading Infrastructure projects as a Procurement Commercial Manager working alongside the supply chain and contractors supporting their commercial activities. This is an exciting time to be part of one of the leading projects in the UK and truly be part of the positive legacy that will improve the lives of this and future generations.

The Role

You will support the delivery of goals by building value added supply chains with sustainable commercial relationships

Provide commercial support and decision making across the company contracts as well as managing those contract to ensure they deliver the strategic objectives of the project

Negotiate commercial agreements with 3rd parties, coordinating interfaces and integrating across contracts and suppliers

Responsibility for developing commercial works information and drafting contract documents to ensure consistency and alignment with procurement plans

Evaluating tenders and supporting moderation to achieve contract award

Responsible for supporting the development of contract management plans

Responsible for the administration of the obligations of the project manager under the NEC3 contract

Maintaining effective cost verification as well as reviews, analysis of supply chain monthly reports to drive performance

Responsible for providing commercial assessment of opportunities for project savings supporting the development of associated proposals

Leading and reviewing estimates, commercial resources and responsible for providing domain knowledge in the development and maintenance of contract and commercial management processes.

The right person

Able to deal with high value and deliver critical contracts for major complex infrastructure

Develop commercial strategies and support negotiations with internal and external parties

Knowledge of Governance, Assurance and Compliance

Contract Management and Administration

Experience of working for or with publicly funded bodies

Managing procurement commercial management teams
