Role: Claims Operations Manager - £50K
Salary: Up to £50K + Package
Location: UK Wide / Flexible


This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative, fast growing, PE backed 'disruptor' within the UK Insurance sector. Our client offers cutting edge technology solutions, underpinned by machine learning and data science principles to innovate the way in which Insurance policies are sold in the UK market.

Role:
This is a brand-new role created to manage the performance of an outsourced Household Claims Operation (TPA). The role holder will be responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience and commercially minded approach to claims management. Key to the role will be the management of the outsourced claims handler to ensure they operate and deliver a best-in-class claims operation.

You will oversee the performance of the TPA against agreed operational KPI's, working with the operation to identify any gaps and work with the operation to improve performance. Furthermore, you will analyse internal claims data to identify opportunities to tighten indemnity control without detriment to the end consumer. Also, you will work with the TPA to update or create household claims handling philosophies and ensure these are adhered to.

Key to your success will be the ability to maximise commercial benefit and revenue generation opportunities. Furthermore, you will be a "disruptor", who is able to drive innovation and embrace technology within the Claims supply-chain to drive customer experience and to reduce the average cost per claim.

Experience:

  • You should have a good level of experience in an operational claims leadership role, handling UK household claims.
  • Experience of managing a TPA arrangement
  • CII or CIPS qualifications are preferred.
  • You should have evidential experience of driving customer and commercial improvements into a desk handling team and will be able to articulate the results of this work.
