Then our client a Major Global Organisation would like YOU to join their team! Reporting into the Group Director, you will take responsibility for Purchasing global spend across the Produce Category, managing a robust sourcing strategy and implmenting best practice processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead and develop a robust sourcing strategy for Produce on a global basis

Design and Implement category strategies which significantly improve the commercial performance at a regional level

Work with acquisition teams to drive efficiencies across the overall supply chain

Negotiate regional agreements and secure best net prices

Lead, manage and develop a team of category managers to ensure best practice throughout the procurement division

Set and deliver ambitious annual savings objectives to deliver the regional target achievement

Person specification

Ideally 1sa 2:1 degree, with CIPS qualification preferred

Strong category management experience within Produce

Experience of working in a multi-cultural and matrix environment

Proven-track record of complex contract negotiations

Excellent external networking capabilities and presentation skills

Team player with excellent communication and influencing skills

Strong management ability and experience of developing and training individuals
